Project Recover is dedicated to searching for and locating American MIAs and POWs from conflicts around the world. Project Recover seeks to provide recognition, information, and closure to families of these service members who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.DURING 2023, THE PROJECT RECOVER TEAM CONTINUED TO BUILD OUR PROCESS: RESEARCH, SEARCH, REPATRIATE AND EDUCATE. SUCCESSFUL EXPEDITIONS TO PALAU AND THE MARSHALL ISLANDS WERE UNDERTAKEN IN PARNERSHIP WITH THE DPAA.
Research-project Recover facilitated a special research Project in partnership with the university of Delaware and the dpaa.
EDUCATION/OUTREACH - Project Recover provides a platform for educating the public about critical historical events, lost heroes who shaped our country, and the importance of public service.THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A WEBSITE TO INFORM THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT THE COMMITTMENT OF THE AMERICAN MILITARY TO THE RECOVERY OF EVERY SOLDIER MISSING IN ACTION AND THE PROCESS AS WELL AS THE IMPACT AND VALUR TO AMERICAN FAMILIES. IN 2023 - PROJECT RECOVER STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS TRAVEL EXTENSIVELY TO EDUCATE AND INFORM INTERESTED GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS ABOUT THE HISTORY AND SCIENCE USED TO LOCATE IDENTIFY AND RETRIEVE MIA PERSONNEL.
