Description
Project Scientist's mission is to inspire confidence in young girls' pursuit of learning through exposure to a high quality STEM academy throughout the year. The virtual lab provides an immersive STEM experience for families at home, along with access to age-tailored STEM curriculum led by credentialed teachers. The STEM Club offers live online enrichment for girls ages 4-12, featuring hands-on experiments and activities led by certified Project Scientist teachers in classrooms of around 15 girls each week.

Summer STEAM LabAbout 650 Girls Served Project Scientists Summer STEAM Lab is an immersive experience for girls* ages 4-12 that takes summer camp to a whole new level! Through hands-on science experiments and activities we challenge and inspire our students to be innovative scientists and problem solvers. Each lab runs over 1-3 weeks and features half-day or full-day sessions. Subject to availability, our Summer Labs are hosted on STEM company campuses, allowing students to experience firsthand what it's like to work at a leading STEM company!
Fall and Spring STEAM ClubAbout 1250 girls served Project Scientist's After-School STEAM Club is an interactive after-school program offering girls* ages 4-12 from marginalized and underserved communities an opportunity to discover the joy of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. The club meets once a week for 90 minutes over 12-16 weeks.
Year-Round Teaching Institute About 170 Teachers served The Project Scientist Teaching Institute is a professional development initiative by teachers for teachers to provide hands-on training and strategies on how to create an equitable, culturally responsive, empowering learning environment for all students. We train educators on integrating gender and racially-equitable STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) teaching strategies, with an emphasis on math, for growing students confidence and outcomes.
