Promising Pages collects new and donated books and shares them with children living in the Charlotte Area Book Desert: those with few, if any, books at home. During the 2022-2023 fiscal year, we collected 272,077 books, and shared 283,651 books with 64,180 students via 154 partners (schools, day care centers, other nonprofits, affordable housing communities, and other child- and family-serving entities).
