Food4climate pavilion description: the food4climate pavilion is a space at the united nations climate change conference or conference of the parties (cop). Partnering organisations will host events to bring food system transformation and sustainable diets to the heart of cop. The main objectives and accomplishments of this program are bringing food system transformation and sustainable diets to the heart of cop, mainstreaming a transition toward diverse and resilient food production and consumption systems as a key climate mitigation and adaptation solution, and bringing diverse stakeholders together to discuss challenges and solutions.
The animal and vegan advocacy (ava) summit: the ava summit is an overarching conference series for the animal and vegan advocacy movement, bringing advocates together from around the world who are focusing on systemic change and working on various tactics, strategies, and approaches toward one shared vision: removing animals from our food system and other human use. Accomplishments: approximately 1,000 advocates from over 47 countries attended. Approximately 200 organizations participated that directly work in the movement. Approximately 200 attendees were managers and leaders in the movement. Approximately 50 exhibitors participated. Approximately 150 speakers gave presentations. There were people and companies from over 50 countries.
