Provision CARES Foundation (PCF) is committed to serving East Tennessee through excellence in cancer education, wellness, research, and assistance programs for cancer patients and their families. More than 151 families were touched by our programs and services in 2023. To attempt to eliminate gaps in services, PCF collaborates with other regional non-profits to maximize resources so patients can focus on their health. Some specific PCF objectives implemented to improve the health of the region include The Caring Plate which provided 10,565 nutritious mealsfor patients undergoing cancer treatment and/or their families in 2023. Program recipients were from more than 17 different East Tennessee cities and were referred by 6 different healthcare providers. In addition, Provision CARES Foundation distributed direct grants to other 501c3 organizations in further of our tax exempt purposes. Distributions were made from all of our designated funds as the foundation is winding down fundraising activities due to lack of staffing and low contribution levels. All of the distributions directly support our purpose of improving cancer education, wellness, research and assistance for cancer patients and their families.
