The organization also provides training in field biology, preservation of biodiversity and educational programming for Columbian students and teachers.The organization's work on economic alternatives focuses on assisting communities in making choices that are beneficial to conserving the habitat for the cotton-top tamarin through encouraging the citizens to participate in the organization's programs that teach eco-friendly farming practices to lessen the impact of traditional farming practices on forested habitat. In addition, the organization provides a "bindes" program to help reduce, reuse and recycle products used on a daily basis. This program burns 2/3 less fire wood than traditional methods for cooking. The organization will continue to create new programs to the same effect.The organization will conduct long-range planning and fund-raising to support the work of Fundacion Proyecto Titi in COlumbia. This organization employs Columbian biologists, field assistants and educators to further the mission of conserving the cotton-top tamarin.
