Public Charter Schools of New Mexico

Training and development services the organization provides both member and non-member Charter Schools with support services in the form of classes, webinars, regional training seminars, evaluation analysis, and professional development. The organization has 72 member Charter Schools. The organization works at increasing student academic achievement by serving Charter Schools and advocating for them. The organization is an important source of technical support and professional development for Charter school teachers, administrators, and governing board members. Program service accomplishments the organization offered online statutorily-required governing board training for 47 Charter Schools. In addition, the organization was able to conduct an online legislative recap webinar which was attended by 27 Schools, and a student/staff behavioral training session attended by 24 Schools. Since restrictions were lifted on in-person gatherings, the organization held its first in-person annual conference in three years which included members of 59 Schools. And 6 education-related entities.
