Program areas at Quaker Haven Camp
Christian Programming: Youth camping served over 640 in six weeks of programmed camps. Presentation of the Gospel, spiritual formation and leadership development with an emphasis on ministry to others were taught and reinforced through worship, group discussion, organized activities and games. (640 youth)
Christian Programming: Meetings of religious organizations were hosted in the dining hall and activities center for banquets and religious programs. Approximately 20 such events were hosted over the year, serving over 1800 guests. Examples include the passion play, madrigal dinner, and Gideon banquet meetings. Indiana Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends held the annual business sessions including times of worship and celebration with the general business of the association of churches. Other groups served included service organizations, schools, churches, and parachurch organizations. (20 events)
Christian Programming: Family camping and church retreats were hosted in an environment conducive to worship and appreciation for God's creation. (16174)
