Program areas at Quality of Life Foundation / Wounded Veteran Families

The Quality of Life Foundation (QoLF) conducts its Wounded Veteran Family Care Program (WVFCP) that assesses and supports the needs of wounded, ill, and injured veteran families. The WVFCP primarily focuses on assisting caregivers of severely wounded, ill, and injured veterans with the VA's Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC) which provides caregiver stipends among other support benefits. Our support includes: (1) helping caregivers understand the PCAFC application and review process, (2) assisting caregivers with VHA Clinical PCAFC appeals, and (3) working in cooperation with the VA and other support organizations to identify and resolve systemic PCAFC challenges faced by caregivers and veterans. The WVFCP provides referrals for other family support needs.
