Quasimondo

Quasimondo connected to the community with performances, outdoor experiences, and classroom education in 2022. In collaboration with the villard avenue business improvement district, Quasimondo presented the 2st annual villard vibes summer concert series at their facility, the arthaus, in old north milwaukee. The 6-week series of free concerts featured local musicians, artisans, and visual artists, and connected over 650 community members through accessible and inspiring arts programming. In addition, Quasimondo continues to work transforming the historic north milwaukee village hall and fire station into the north milwaukee arthaus, a center for art and education on milwaukee's northwest side. Participation in doors open provided community members a chance to visit the arthaus.

Quasimondo presented "giraffe on fire", a dance masterpiece in an all-new cinematic experience celebrating life and love. Quasimondo also provided "bee the change" in-school programming, an education arts and science program about pollinators. The programs has three facets that build on each other to increase awareness, appreciation, inspiration and action. Quasmondotv opportunities presented included threads and peeps. Quasimondo began preparation for "impossible operas" with friends at the milwaukee opera theater that will have performances in spring 2023.
