Human Services Programs, General /Others: The ministry provides for the physical and emotional needs of the backstretch workers and their families. This includes food, clothing, transportation, medical needs, and in some cases, shelter and financial help. Individual counseling is available for spiritual & emotional needs as well as drug and alcohol addiction counseling. Other needs are addressed and dealt with if so requested. There are Wednesday evening worship services and daily jockey devotions available to those that desire to attend. Classes are available to those wishing to learn to speak the English language. The Chaplain ministers to up to 1000 workers and their families.
