Ragamala Dance

Program services include:performances locally and on tour (u.s. and the netherlands): presented 10 live performances at 9 venues in 9 cities, reaching a total audience of 6,370.community engagement activities in our home community and on tour: conducted 35 in-person outreach activities at 18 sites in the twin cities, nationwide, and in the netherlands (including schools, universities, senior centers, Dance schools, hospitals, community centers, places of worship, museums, and community festivals) reaching an audience of 4,360.see schedule o for additional program languageconducted 7 virtual outreach activities (including livestreamed artist talks, participatory Dance classes, and newly created video and audio content), reaching an audience of 2,572; cohosted two in-person convenings of major u.s. Performing arts presenters on the topic of "what is american Dance? ", hosting 17 arts presenters and funders from 12 cities. Ongoing classes at the Ragamala training center, with locations in minneapolis and rochester, Minnesota: conducted 6 hours of group classes per week for 36 weeks of the year, and additional one-on-one classes for advanced students, for a population of 45 students aged 7 through adult. Classes offered in person and virtually via zoom.
