Program areas at Raleigh Dream Center

Mobile Food Pantry - Through June 2023, RDC contracted with Wake County Human Services to continue providing daily food support reaching 30 local communities. This was a joint effort with the Wake County Food Insecurity Team. After this time, RDC continued to serve 8 local communities with food, prayer and other needs. 1,651,249 pounds of food was distributed during 2023.
Adopt-A-Block - In 2023, RDC served in 13 communities with its Saturday Adopt-A-Block program assisting with food, prayer and other needs in under-resourced communities. In addition over 2,500 wrapped Christmas gifts and 1,000 backpacks were given to children at annual events.
Dream Center Discipleship Program - In 2023, RDC completed the construction of 2 new recovery homes for men. As of December 2023, RDC was actively preparing its first recovery home for women which opened in Q1 of 2024. This is a free one-year program that provides housing, food, counseling, and programming to help people walk in sobriety and begin to put the pieces of their lives back together. RDC is now able to house 14 men and 4 women in this program. During 2023, 35 men experienced the DCD program and 5 men graduated from the program.
