Ranchland Trust of Kansas

Ranchland Trust of Kansas, Inc., (RTK) was created and governed by working ranchers to provide voluntary conservation tools, primarily easements which limit building development or conversion, through the lens of working agriculture. In partnership with voluntary landowners, RTK currently protects 17,440 acres of working landscapes for future generations. RTK maintains a multi-year waitlist of voluntary landowners wishing to protect working landscapes from development and loss of grazing habitat. Ranchland Trust of Kansas works to ensure the easement goal of each landowner and grant remains intact through annual onsite visits. RTK also conducts public outreach through various print and digital media outlets, public events and conservation award activities.
