Recruited Retirees to attend and speak before Board of Trustee for Rancho meetings (Zoom and hybrid) outlining personal difficulties and worries retirees had in trying to arrange Medicare coverage, get a plan number, continue ongoing treatments and obtain medications under an Advantage Plan. All retirees were forced into Medicare, which included the District paying for part A premiums for those who never paid into Medicare or forfeit any District paid medical benefits.
Held general online membership meeting to confirm association officers, set terms, outline legal steps taken and to solicit donations to continue a legal fight against the District.
