Program areas at Rancho Feliz Charitable Foundation

Education for over 35 years, Rancho Feliz has been committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by offering preschool through college scholarships to low-income families. Scholarships are funded by donations and provide students with high-quality bi-lingual education at private and public local schools. Scholarships include registration, tuition, books and other academic materials, psychological assistance and student activities. Once a student graduates from high school, depending on their career choice, they have the opportunity to attend a local technical collage or a public university in mexico. Scholarships are reviewed on an annual basis and students and families are expected to comply with scholarship expectations and guidelines.
Vecinos in 1999, Rancho Feliz constructed a 3 acre affordable housing community called "vecinos dignos sin fronteras" (worthy neighbors without borders). This visionary neighborhood has 42 homes and houses approximately 150 people. Vecinos was developed to provide families in agua prieta, mexico an affordable and safe place to live. The neighborhood includes an onsite childcare facility, education center, playgrounds and sports court. All residents complete volunteer hours and help support the community and beyond through various initiatives.
Volunteer program Rancho Feliz brings people together to transcend cultural boundaries through education and service work on the Arizona / mexico border. We provide purposeful experiences that improve the lives of volunteers while at the same time helping those who were not born into our same fortunate circumstances. Our volunteer guest house, la hacienda Feliz, offers accommodations for up to 60 volunteers, providing them with a culturally rich and immersive mexican experience. Volunteers participate in building homes, food distributions, and interactive visits to dog shelters, an orphanage and migrant shelter. Stays offer transportation and guided tours.
