Reach for the Top Therapy

Of the families we served this year, 82% resided in strafford county, with representation from 8 other counties within new hampshire and Maine, some families traveling up to 95 minutes to have access to some of the specialized care we provide. In 2023 we served 490 families, in 8,450 hours of direct occupational, physical, and speech Therapy services in-person and virtually. We were able to expand development of our specialty services, to branch out into the community with the goal of increasing inclusion, access, and advocacy for children with disabilities. We expanded specifically to develop, plan, and run 13 specialty programs to include: hippotherapy, aquatics Therapy, feeding Therapy, outdoor Therapy groups, themed peer groups, music Therapy, teletherapy, aac evaluation and Therapy, infant feeding Therapy, animal assisted Therapy with a licensed Therapy dog, and continue a community sensory garden to name a few. We have family support groups also for autistic and neurodiverse children and families. We have provided in-service training to school districts, childcare centers, and a vast amount of training committed internally and externally for staff development, to increase the expertise of our healthcare workforce. We partner with 11 universities and contribute to the next generation of therapists learning requirements to give-back to the industry, with a well-structured program based in mentorship. We have also expanded our community alliances to partner with other non-profits and for-profits serving children of all abilities, to work on increasing access for our patients and others with exceptional needs when navigating community spaces.
