Readfield Union Meeting House

Restoration of the Meeting House clock tower, belfry and spire was kickstarted in 2023 with a very generous bequest from a former board member and spouse. Thanks to many volunteer workers, major repairs and upgrades to the kitchen and bathroom of the vestry building were completed in 2023. Construction materials and equipment were purchased in part with a loan from the Readfield enterprise fund. The vestry is now available as an adjunct to the Meeting House and provides space for public use in the village area of Readfield. A series of 15 events were held throughout 2023 to attract visitors to the Meeting House.
