Program areas at The Real Wishes Foundation
In 2023 The Real Wishes Foundation provided a hand up, not a handout, to 20 individuals/families totaling over 69,000. Working with cochise county school districts and shelters, we provided over 900 children in lower income brackets with warm coats for this winter. We provided riding school scholarships and camping scholarships to many boys and girls who would not have otherwise had The opportunity to attend these personal growth events. In santa cruz, az 5,000 was distributed locally in scholarships and 2,600 donated to other charitable entities. Wec.a.r.e. Is The fund is at The heart of The committment made by The west and southeast realtors of The valley weserv to its realtor members, affiliate members, and staff in good standing. Through this fund we assisted 20 members experiencing hardships by paying bills totaling 66,800. In addition, 7,500 was distributed in student scholarships, and 21,850 to other charitable entities.
A 10,000 donation was made to The asu Foundation for a new america university. The asu Foundation builds partnerships and relationships, uniting ideas, people, philanthropic support, and investments to advance The goals of asu for inclusion, student success, discovery, and local and global impact.
Our secure lockbox program is primarily for elderly residents who live alone, are physically challenged, or have a medical condition with a probability that it be necessary to call 911 for assistance. The Real Wishes Foundation administers The program while The participating fire and rescue or police department individually assign lockboxes. Typically, information, installation, and access attached to each lockbox will be stored in The aided dispatch database of participating fire and rescue or police departments . This allows for storage of confidential information and creates a systematic emergency response. 266 lockboxes were distributed in 2023.
