Program areas at Reformation Hope
Reformation Hope, Inc. continues to provide ongoing financial support for the operation of the New Joy House orphanage, located in Marin, Haiti. The assistance is used by Souls Winning Ministries (the organization in Haiti overseeing the orphanage project) in order to provide housing, food, clothing, education, healthcare, and social services for orphaned or abandoned children. Assistance also supports the orphanage staff who care for the children, the purchase of needed supplies, food, and fuel, as well as the purchase of necessary medications for the children. Twice yearly, containers of used furniture and other donated items are also sent to Souls Winning Ministries.
Reformation Hope provides grants and relief for a variety of indigenous Haitian churches, among these are partnerships with Presbyterian churches located in Jacmel and in Isle de Gonave. This relief includes grants for food, supplies, and payroll support for religious workers and day laborers.
Reformation Hope provides financial assistance to the Reformed Bible College in Jacmel, Haiti and also to the Reformed Bible College in Marin, Haiti, when conditions in the country allow for the conducting of in-person Bachelor of Theology or Bachelor of Divinity classes.
Reformation Hope provided limited support of $23,921 to the Reformed Medical Clinic in Marin / La Plaine, Haiti.
Reformation Hope provided $19,483 to further the work of the Presbyterian Church in Marin / La Plaine, Haiti and for the support of their pastoral staff.
Reformation Hope provided disaster relief to Haitians impacted by severe flooding and earthquake damage to their homes.
Reformation Hope provided grants for the embalming, funeral, and burial expenses of two Haitian family members connected to two of our Haitian partner organization workers.
Reformation Hope assisted Souls Winning Ministries in Haiti with the costs of notary and legal fees connected with the verification of land / property deeds in Jacmel, Haiti.
Reformation Hope provided $722 in assistance to a Haitian-American consultant for travel connected with Souls Winning Ministries in Haiti.
Reformation Hope provided $500 in mercy assistance to the widow (U.S. citizen) of the Souls Winning Ministries founder, Rev. Jean Paul, who was murdered while in Haiti.
