Reformed Church of Highland Park Affordable provides permanent housing to diverse low-income tenants, including veterans, women aging out of foster care, developmentally disabled adults, homeless youth, and chronically homeless individuals. Its mission is to provide housing to qualified individuals. Rchp-ahc owns 20 properties in seven different municipalities in central NJ. Additionally, it partners with Interfaith-rise, a refugee and immigrant support & empowerment program that receives and places refugees from around the world into caring communities in the US.

Program areas at Reformed Church Of Highland Park - Affordable Housing Corp

HOUSING: RCHP-AHC owns 25 properties that house diverse low-income tenants including veterans, women aging out of foster care, disabled adults, and others with significant life challenges that create barriers to remaining successfully housed. We also lease additional units from landlords and sublease them to individuals and families who would otherwise not qualify for a direct lease due to lack of employment history or income, or other factors, including refugees, asylum seekers, and people returning to the community from prison.
GLOBAL GRACE VENTURES: Global Grace Cafe, Marketplace, Woodshop, and Farms are refugee-run micro-businesses that provide first jobs and job readiness training to newly arrived refugees. Global Grace Health is a mobile public health team that provides COVID and flu testing and vaccines as well as health information to underserved communities across NJ.
CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS FOR CLIENTS: RCHP-AHC operates six social service programs 1) Interfaith RISE Refugee Resettlement Program; 2) Still Waters Anti-Trafficking Program; 3) Accompany Now, a program for unaccompanied minors; 4) Asylum Seeker Housing Program; 5) Re-Entry Housing, for people released from prison in NJ; and 6) Housing for Homeless & Low-Income NJ Residents. These programs provide case management, direct services, and support to clients.
