In 2023, Refugee Oasis (RO) launched ministry in Nantes, France. RO partnered with five different churches to open two language centers. RO serves 80 students per week. These students are refugees and immigrants who come to the center to learn French and English. RO provides materials for volunteers to welcome the students and to teach them. RO has recruited 22 volunteers from local churches to serve the refugees. Since launching in September, RO has served 122 unique students. RO plans on opening 2-3 new centers in Nantes with a goal of having a center convenient for ever volunteer and refugee.
