Horse Rescue Used for Programs - The various human therapy programs are built around the Rescued and Rehabilitated Equine (Horses) who find their way to the ranch. Our horse rescue is completely funded by the financial support of our community and home to nearly 80 horses who frequently come with the need of significant rehabilitation. After rehabilitation each horse is assessed to find an optimal home and future. Some find their way to forever homes through our extensive adoption program. Others stay and become a vital component of the ranch therapy team. Children receive Equine Therapy at nearly no charge, as our services are 98% funded by donor support to the community. The ranch focus demographic is "At Risk Youth" in lower socioeconomics. Over 5,000 encounters are provided with individuals and families who experience equine therapy or recreational therapy programming designed to expose growth and learning in an authentic ranch environment. Volunteers provide support in operating a full time working ranch. Volunteers also participate in permaculture, which was designed to provide educational and mindful opportunities for both positive mental health growth and an understanding of a sustainable future through permaculture. This program is 100% funded by donors to create a unique volunteer opportunity in a authentic ranch environment. Reigning Grace Ranch also has a chapel ministry and First Responder Program.
