Support: advocates will assist with community agencies and the civil or criminal justice system (e.g court support, advocacy with support agencies, safety planning). Information: referrals for legal aid, financial and food assistance, housing, community resources. Information regarding safety planning, restraining orders, court appearances, court documents and forms, etc. Community education: trained advocates provide school, agency, and community organization presentation and access to local, regional, state and national trainings or trainers; many of them are free. During the current fiscal year, Renew provided direct services to 666 persons in montezuma and dolores counties.
