International service:donations for medical equipment for use in ukraine; donations for medical equipment for use in beirut lebanon; donations for the use of scholarships to the Rotary club of magkang in thailand; donations for training assistance in a sklls lab at the bwindi hospital in africa; and donations to the Rotary international foundation-paul harris, polio plus and world community service projects.
Youth service projects-to provide money for the Rotary youth leadership program which sends high school students from reno/sparks area to a leadership camp. The Foundation holds a music contest and a speech contest to recognize outstanding students. Sponsor a Rotary youth exchange to provide foreign exchange for inbound and out- bound students to spend a year abroad with other Rotary clubs. The Foundation also sponsored four schools for the middle school leadership program.
Community service programs and vocational service programs career coaching program-lunch for students from high-risk middle school where they spend a day with a rotarian visiting at least two local businesses that the students might be interested in learning about. Vocational scholarships, contributions to washoe county school district, and other community projects that includes expenses for riverwalk garden and memorial for former Reno mayor.
