Repertoire International De Litterature Musicale (RILM)

("rilm")was originally organized in 1966 as an International collaborativeproject of the International musicological society (switzerland)and the International association of music libraries, archives anddocumentation centres (united states), as an organizationcommitted to a comprehensive and accurate representation of musicscholarship in all countries and languages and across alldisciplinary and cultural boundaries. Rilm was formallyincorporated as a new york not-for-profit organization in 2000. In2007, the International council for traditional music (austria)joined as the third sponsoring body. Through its global network and advanced information technologies,rilm is dedicated to disseminating knowledge and fosteringcommunications among all research and performance communities. Itsflagship publication, rilm abstracts of music literature, is acomprehensive International bibliography of writings on musiccomprising indexed and abstracted content across three centuriesof publications on music from around the world. Rilm releasedrilm music encyclopedias, an annually expanding full-textcompilation of reference works, in december 2015. Rilm releasedrilm abstracts of music literature with full text in the summer of2016, and mgg online in november 2016. Rilm is planning torelease new publications of music-related scholarship in comingyears.
