Rescue A Golden of Arizona

The year 2023 saw Rescue A Golden of Arizona ragof az achieve A significant expansion in its mission to Rescue Golden retrievers in need regardless of age or medical condition. In partnership with two other organizationsas good as gold or agog and Golden retrievers in need or grin we rescued both adult dogs and puppies from midwest puppy mills who would have otherwise come to an untimely end. In total, we rescued 156 dogs of which more than 50 were from puppy mills. All dogs received health screenings, vaccinations, medical care, and specialized behavioral training for traumatized animals. Adopters of these special needs dogs received home visits and zoom training sessions from A behaviorist with in-depth experience in trauma. We also rescued A pregnant female Golden who delivered ten puppies of golden-chow parentage. All ten pups were successfully placed in forever adoptive homes and continue to thrive. In total some 20 puppies were born after coming into our Rescue. We also saved A four-month old puppy who was near death and required middle of the night emergency surgery.
