Rescue America (ra) provides direct outreach to victims of sex trafficking, facilitating safe exit and response services to support immediate survival needs as well as continued mental, emotional and spiritual needs, preparing them for long term placement in partner homes across the u.s. ras outreach hub program expanded dramatically in 2023 to 41 hubs nationwide. Volunteers placed 36,959 outbound calls offering a message of hope while distributing the hotline number. The 24/7 hotline provides victims with immediate response and Rescue services. In 2023, they received 1,958 calls, with 1,258 calls being from victims of sex trafficking or sexual exploitation, and 225 exiting the life. The total number of hotline calls increased almost 38% from 2022, with calls coming in from 463 cities across America.
