Program areas at Resource Cleveland
The Refugee empowerment agricultural program (reap), operates one of The largest contiguous urban farms in The nation. Located on Cleveland's west side, training workshops are provided to help The refugees acquire transferrable skills that they can continue to use long after completing The program. Besides providing workshops, sixteen (16)refugees were employeed and paid for their efforts on The urban farm.
Newcomer navigators help families through The process of enrolling in social services, including health care, public assistance, childcare, education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
Teaching The children and adults english as a second language. Also, The children going to school need home tutoring as they receive limited academic instruction because they are often placed in school systems without The necessary support. During 2023, 44 students were home tutored.
