Respond to Racism in Lake Oswego is a neighborhood effort that aims to interrupt racism in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Community Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month and bring together concerned citizens, local government officials, media representatives, and members of the LO School District to address both overt and systemic racism in the community. The Respond to Racism Youth Empowerment Team hosts Storytime, a fun and interactive half-hour event for K-5 elementary school-aged children featuring books selected by a literacy specialist and guest authors.
