Program areas at Restoring Dignity
Over the past year, we taught 1,695 in-home classes. A total of 3,349 lives were impacted through these classes, including the lives of 1,613 children. Our classes were taught in 11 languages, and individuals in our program identified with 25 different ethnicities. We also helped build the infrastructure for omaha's first furniture bank, in an 18,000 square foot warehouse. We provided critical housing advocacy to dozens of families. 33 window a/c units were installed for families who have none. We completed two home makeovers. Via partnership with the douglas county health department, we created the emergency language alert network.
