This organization through donations,feeds, maintains, shelters and places rescued animals. The animals are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and are kept at the organizations local facility, or placed in foster homes until the animals are adopted into permanent homes. Careful screening is maintained to insure the animals are placed in the optimum adoptive home. The organization maintains a web-site showing adoptable animals. The president and volunteers perform rigorous screening to insure an animal is placed in a good home. Additionally, the web-site is committed to educating the public in animal care and rescue issues. The organization also provides low-cost spaying and neuter referrals, as well as a placement service for animals that it cannot accept.
