Revolution5's mission is to disciple, train, and develop college and 20-somethings to love God, love people, and lead with purpose and persuasion in every sphere of society through backcountry adventures, education experiences, and intimate relationships. The leadership institute had 11 students enrolled, who live in a dormitory style environment while receiving nine hours of weekly class instruction on worldview, public communication, entrepreneurship, and governance. An alumni association was formed to maintain connections with graduates and provide networking opportunities.

Program areas at Revolution5

Institute - Revolution5 leadership institute had 11 students enrolled. Class instruction time averages nine hours per week and encompasses subjects from worldview to public communication to entrepreneurship governance. Students reside on-campus in a dormitory style environment, inclusive of room and board. They embarked on 13 developmental trips, including the grand tetons, Utah, and exploring vaious locations in Colorado. These trips focus on nurturing core leadership skills, such as resilience, self-awareness, and servant leadership. All students participated in a missions trip to nepal from january 9th to january 24th, collaborating with local nepalese communities to provide humanitarian aid. Our commisioning ceremony was held on may 20, 2023 in Colorado springs.
Alumni - the association of alumni was informally established with a two-fold purpose 1to maintain connection with alumni, including fostering long term investments rev5 graduates, and 2 to extend networking opportunities. In the 22-23 year, we launched an official second year program named the school of entreneurship. Nine alumni jouned us, taking on various roles with the institute to develope first-year stucents, including leading retreats and offering one-on-one emotional intelligence development. Five alumni accompanied institute students on the mission trip to nepal, while four participated in a mission trip to the tajikistan from january 101th to january 26th, teaching leadership classes and computer programming with a local organization.
Outreach - throughout the 22-23 program year, rev5 hosted weekend retreats for junior high, high school, and college students. A total of 45 students attended these four weekend retreats aimed at fostering leadership skills, promoting healthy peer relationships, developing soft skills, and helping participants focus on their lifes purpose. The intended outcome was to equip participants with a strong perspective on the importance of leadership within their generation. In the summer of 2023, rev5 launched its inauural 3-day ascend the hill conference attended by 24 high school and college-aged students. The purpose of this conference was to increase self-discipline, focus lifes purpose, and facilitate leadership development. Seven high school attendees from this event later joined a mission trip to nepal, led by three school of entrepreneurship alumni, with the goal of broadening students worldviews and enhancing their leadership potential.
