Student scholarships - college scholarships awarded to 4-H members.
Animal science programs - well over 300 4-hers participate in 4-H programs in animal science. These funds are used for workshops, training sessions, judges, presentations, contests and competitions.
In addition to animal science programs, the 4-H organization offers various other educational activities and events in other project areas including science, technology, environmental education, public speaking, photography/fine arts, leadership, health and nutrition, etc. Funds expended in these areas include the purchase of educational materials, supplies, awards, rental of facilities, and small stipend/reimbursement of expenses for guest speakers and workshop leaders.
