Program areas at Ridgeview Institute

The primary purpose of Ridgeview Institute, Inc. was to provide mental health and addiction treatment services. Effective january 5, 2017, Ridgeview Institute, Inc. Executed an asset purchase agreement with us healthvest, llc which included the sale of certain assets related to the hospital business, as well as all rights to the operation of the hospital business. This agreement represented a discontinuation of hospital operations for Ridgeview Institute, Inc. However, two million of the proceeds from the sale was held back in an escrow, which was not entirely liquidated until 2022. Ridgeview Institute, Inc. Continued to receive payments on receivables from prior operations and remained in existence until the escrow was liquidated, it settled its legal affairs, and disposed of its remaining assets to gift of hope foundation in 2023.
