Program areas at Rise Phoenix Rise
Recovery Cafe is the program with the most expense. This program offers a weekly meeting with a therapy dog and a peer support specialist to a group of people. In this meeting, we discuss different issues that can affect someones day to day life. The only restriction is the participants have to be over the age of 18, otherwise, this group is open to everyone, and free to our participants.
Provide education on mental health and therapy animals through panels, zoom meetings, and much more.
The second program we offer is Animal Antics. This weekly program offers group support in an online setting over Zoom for people who do not feel comfortable or live too far away to attend our weekly Recovery Cafe meetings. Here, we talk about how to utilize the animals someone has at home in a helpful and therapeutic way. This program is open to anyone.
