Riverview Gardens

To engage economically disadvantaged individuals, those experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, justice involved and returning citizens, people with mental health or substance use challenges, and youth disconnected from work or school, in our no-cost, no-fail, job training and placement programs. Participants learn transferable job skills that help them obtain stable, permanent employment, allowing them to provide for themselves and their families and to become self-sufficient and contributing community members. Five social enterprises - a certified organic urban farm; two hydroponic greenhouses; event and park space; maintenance contracts; and downtown cleaning and maintenance teams -- form the muscle that sustains their mission as they offer diverse skill-building employment opportunities for program participants and a source of revenue to support the organization's mission.
