DC Road Runners Club ("the Club") promotes and encourages running as a competitive sport and healthy exercise in the Washington DC metropolitan area. In support of our mission, during 2023, the Club: (1) Served approx. 578 members with high member engagement, over 100 of whom volunteered at Club and Club-sponsored events. (2) Conducted 17 races that were free to Club members with approx. 1,600 finishers and 3 paying races with approx. 5,600 finishers and competed at Maryland RRCA Club Challenge 10-Miler with 83 finishers. (3) Conducted 7 contract races with approx. 10,000 finishers. (4) Conducted a limited number of social events. (5) The Club's annual meeting was held at the banquet. (6) Conducted training programs at 10K, 10 Mile/Half-Marathon, and Marathon distances for approx. 100 members. (7) Hosted four running book club meeting for approx. 20 participants.
