Program areas at Roane County Anti Drug Coalition
The Established Coalitions block grant, marijuana, and SOR grants though the State of TN Department of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services are designed to increase the capacity of coalitions in order to implement strategies involving environmental change with a specific focus on alcohol, tobacco and Rx drugs.
The CARA Local Drug Crises Grant is funded by the CDC and is a community-based enhancement grant to address local drug crises.The STOP grant is funded by SAMHSA and is focused on the prevention of underage drinking.
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program through the National Corporation for Community Service is designed to help increase volunteerism in Roane County, particularly on issues surrounding opioid use and misuse.
The Drug Endangered Children grant is through the TN Bureau of Investigation and the Pathways grant, from ETSU is for a reentry program.
