The RAM effort is an ecumenical and cooperative one. RAM receives funds, clothing, and food from the surrounding localities, churches, individuals, civic and religious groups, and foundations and distributes the funds and other donations to needy people who have been referred to the emergency outreach centers by welfare departments, other social agencies, ministries, schools, and police.
In 1987, RAM house was established as a comprehensive day shelter/soup kitcehn designated to provide shelter and a noon-day meal for homeless men, women, and children.
