Program areas at RFMBA

Trail creation and maintenance. In 2023, Rfmba's work included construction of the overie trail through partnership with blm and Colorado Mountain club, as well as initial construction of a new trail loop west of new castle Colorado. Trail planning initiatives, and fundraising efforts for recently approved trails continued throughout the Roaring Fork valley. Additionally, our seasonal trail crew was hired to perform trail maintenance throughout the Roaring Fork valley including deferred maintenance on specific trails on the white river national forest, and assist with the construction of the overie and incline / uphill airline projects. 178 volunteers, with 1,817 hours.
