Program areas at Robert Toigo Foundation

Education: Toigo continued in 2022 to address the issues related to covid by advancing its delivery of remote learning through A variety of online coursework, webinars, and networking sessions. The growing interests and needs of mbas particularly given the conversion of in-person sessions to virtual platforms allowed the Foundation to reach an increasing number of students by way of our industry education online sessions, technical skill training and workshops. Online platforms were customized and administered providing A setting for seamless programming and an effective way to engage corporate donors in leading sessions, meeting students toward recruitment goals and providing career management support. Application for the mba fellowship remained robust for 2022. The Foundation welcomed nearly 350 next generation leaders to present their qualifications for selection as A Toigo fellow. The Foundation's financial investment in online application tools, webinars and recorded interviews and leadership assessment allowed for the closest experience to the in-person interview process and the selection of 100 students for the program, who participated in mba catapult virtually. By mid-year 2022, the Foundation was able to resume select in-person events for students bringing back the spirit of connection and high value derived from peer to peer learning and exchange through our fall leadership event hosting nearly 200 students. Participants experienced A full 2-day program anchored by the richness of learning content, quality of speakers and investment experts and technical skills offerings. New trends in careers that emerged in 2022 presented opportunities for the Foundation to engage additional content providers and subject matter experts to expand our technical skills platform - quant camp. Ai, fintech and digital infrastructure innovation were just A few of the new programming introduced during our in-person sessions. Revenue supporting this program was driven by charitable support provided for our leadership educational platform for students.
Toigo institute programming: Toigo institute programming focused on post graduate continuous learning through investments in specialized programs and services aimed at advance the leadership aspiration of post-graduate participants we serve. This work was complimented by the Foundation's amplified education and awareness messaging workplace diversity, access to talent and mechanisms for retention. The Foundation continued development of its learning platform featuring podcasts, investment sector webinars and more. Additionally, the crm "Toigo marketplace" grew in participation across the network of fellowship participants, sharing industry events and A spirit of community building. Thought leadership in 2022 included the Foundation's contribution to ongoing education and support to industry seeking ways to reach untapped talent for their organizations and to adopt improved programs and practices to stimulate retention and advancement of valued employees. Toigo's women in leadership summit, groundbreakers returned in person in 2022. More than 25 firms supported the event as sponsors and speakers. With corporate sponsorship, firms were able to register employees to enjoy the program to take advantage of the rich leadership content of the program. This return to in person is viewed as A positive with respect to the spirit of connection this event offers to mid to senior career women leaders and the critical and timely tools and insights into professional development topics of greatest importance to women. The high-profile lineup of speakers from academia, philanthropy, business and government adds to this quality of this high demand event. Toigo series of investment-related events, known as industry insights, presented A setting for industry to convene on topics which support the mission of the non-profit but also have impact on the agenda of change and opportunity. Industry insights also positions the non-profit at the center of dialogue with corporate partners, academia, and unquestionably high-caliber talent to exchange openly on topics across education, dei, investments, board governance and more.
Professional services: the national dialogue and actions around inclusion and opportunity; workplace dynamics and fairness continued in 2022. The momentum started in 2020 was maintained with an increase in systematic recruiting and career management activities across firms and an interest to engage with the Foundation in securing high potential talent for their organizations. The Foundation provided support to firm professionals exploring new ways for capitalizing on their Toigo partnership and to promote their firm's opportunities. Support to firms to bridge the connections their recruitment opportunities targeting entry level talent seeking summer internships and/or fulltime roles upon graduation was steady. Mid-career talent acquisition also remained in focus in 2022 as firms refined their outreach to partner with the Foundation to identify experienced talent bringing investment skills, leadership qualities and vision to contribute readily to A firm's business strategy and investment platforms.
