Program areas at Rochester Presbyterian Home
The Home provides residential and personal care services for up to 206 residents. 169 beds are reserved for elders with early, mid-stage, and advanced dementia and 37 beds are reserved for alert and oriented persons. Services include nursing and resident aide staff who provide direct care to the residents including evaluation, medication management, personal grooming, housekeeping and laundry. The Home also provides meals and snacks according to the dietary needs of the residents; staff to address the social, psychological and spiritual needs of the residents; and staff to maintain the property as a warm and caring home for the residents. The Home had approximately 48,222 resident care days in 2022. (Continued on Schedule O)All three residences offered an "enhanced program", a program that allows elders to "age in place". The Enhanced Adult Living Residence license allows staff to provide more assistance with ambulation, eating, and behavioral challenges as the elders' dementia progresses and function deteriorates. This is a time when the elders need the most help and a time when they deserve the utmost respect.
