Program areas at Rocky Mountain Songwriter Festivals
Host an event that brings seventy songwriters to our host communities to perform for our fans, playing their songs and telling the stories behind them. Professional songwriters host workshops and judge contests for aspiring songwriters and interested spectators. In 2023 seventy songwriters performed to over 6,000 people.
Provide music and fine arts educational scholarships. In 2023, fourteen students were granted scholarships.
Provide financial assistance through grants to various educational institutionsor programs supporting music or fine rts education. In 2023, six grants were paid amounting to $ . These grants funded music education programs and purchases of musical instruments. Impact of grants provided assistance and opportunities to approximately 500 students.
