Program areas at Rocky Mountain Songwriter Festivals
Host an event that brings seventy plus songwriters to our host communities to perform for our fans, playing their songs and telling the stories behind them. Professional songwriters host workshops and judge contests for aspiring songwriters and interested spectators. In 2022 seventy five songwriters performed to over 1100 people.
Provide financial assistance through grants to various educational institutionsor programs supporting music education. In 2022, eight grants were paid amounting to $ 11,975. These grants funded scholarships and purchases of musical instruments. Impact of grants provided assistance and opportunities to approximately 300 students.
Received donations in support of local flood recovery. These funds were granted to local flood recovery efforts.
