Program areas at Rodel Charitable Foundation - De
Rodel is one of many partners involved in the nationally recognized Delaware pathways initiative, a public-private partnership that includes the governor's office, higher education, and major local employers--all working toward creating meaningful job experiences and college-level courses for high schoolers. Rodel worked with partners to create a work-based learning course for high schoolers, while pathways enrollment grew to more than 26,000 students statewide.rodel has aligned support of a broad coalition working to enhance and transform early childhood education through large-scale policy changes and appropriations. Rodel helped advocate for millions in increased state investments in early learning, and the rodel-convened first state pre-k campaign is pushing lawmakers toward affordable, accessible, and quality early care, universal pre-k for all Delaware families.rodel and its partner organization, the vision coalition, have convened hundreds of leaders, community members and educators on a variety important issues across several events, ranging from equitable student funding to career pathways, to mindfulness techniques for teachers.
