We began the Romano Children Foundation as a tangible step toward teaching our family values to our Children and grandchildren. Those values are encapsulated in our mission: we are god's agents; people of action who use the resources god gave us to make the world a better place for his Children. We do that primarily by partnering with high functioning public charities and private foundations. Each year our family members nominate and our board selects organizations doing work that aligns with our values. Any family member may sponsor a mission investment program for such a cause which obligates them to research and present the program to the family and the board. Each mission investment program must include a method and schedule for evaluating the effectiveness of the program.
