Program areas at Rotary Club of Harrisburg Endowment Fund
Through investment activities and earnings, Rotary Club of Harrisburg Endowment Fund is able to assist with scholarships and tuition for low income families in the houston independent school district. Scholarships from 500 to 2,000 each were paid to students during the fiscal year.
Through fundraising activities the Endowment Fund was able to assist various community organizations to include early act first knights (eafk), a year round character and service education program for elementary and middle schools. Eafk is research based and 100% of participating campuses experience increased acedemic performance and decreased student behavior incidents.
The Endowment Fund donated funds to help establish Rotary clubs internationally and help children internationally as is done in the usa.
