Program areas at Rotary District 5300 Foundation
Cleft palate endowment - working with rotaplast international, inc. life-changing surgeries are provided to those with cleft lips and/or palates, burn scarring, and other deformities.
Rotary youth leadership awards(ryla) - ryla is an intensive leadership event organized by Rotary clubs and distritcs to develop skills as leader for participants ages 14-30. Ryla may take the form of a one-day seminar, a three-day retreat, or a weeklong camp.
The corazon superbuild - it finances the construction of homes for the underserved communities in northern mexico. Rotary District 5300 club members volunteer their labor, lead by trained and experienced lead builders, to construct 16x20 homes for families in one day. Together, they are not just building houses; they are igniting futures for youth, adults, and entire communities, creating pathways where none seemed possible.
All other accomplishments - including the peace conference, 4 way test speech contest, dan stover music contest, and the lefler grant.
