Crisis assistance network (can) provides financial help, groceries and clothing to individuals in need. During the year ended 06/30/24, can assisted 966 individuals and distributed 1,017,730 pounds of groceries to 4,235 families.
The shelter for homeless individuals. During the year ended 06/30/24, rhm provided 28,826 overnights to 668 different men, women and children. New tomorrows had 415 participants.
Miscellaneous programs include: eagle's nest, which is transitional housing for single parents; eagle's nest ii, which is transitional housing for single individuals; case management and budget counseling; rhm west and rhm east, which serve western & eastern Rowan county; jeannie's kitchen, and food for thought which provided 30,469 weekend bags of food to food-insecure students.
