Program areas at R&R Pet Sanctuary

In 2023 R&R Pet Sanctuary took in ten dogs and five guinea pigs. One of the dogs was adopted after receiving all shots and sterilization and another dog is currently available for adoption following his rehabilitation. The other eight dogs are permanent residents of the Sanctuary due to their special needs. Seven of the dogs and all of the guinea pigs were rescue transfers which resulted in a reduced load for the other rescues.
In addition to the new intakes R&R Pet Sanctuary provided care for over 30 dogs six cats and multiple small animals that are permanent residents.
The Sanctuary provides educational pieces to the public via social media and at events in order to spread awareness of different disabilities and diseases that pets may have. The Sanctuary provides support resources and direction to the public regarding these conditions.
